  • Group of friends

dont stay here, they put us in another hotel which was crap...

  • Older travelers

the hotel was excellent and the staff were very helpful , would have liked to stay longer.

  • Couple

The room is large ,generous, and well eqipmented.Great and convenient location in Temple Bar and close to most tourist attraction points. The reception is very friendly and helpful. The Wifi is not so steable but better than none.Ideal for budget tourists still.

Though sometimes you can hear the noisy and drunk people shouting out loud from the back of the street in the midnight which is terrible. No remote controll for TV .Some parts of the carpet in bedroom is smelly.

  • Group of friends

Very cozy, and familiar.its a boutique old hotel.very very close to my standars.

  • Single

The staff were incredibly helpful. It was within walking distance of all the places I want to go to and and the hotel itself has a lot of character and charm.

  • Older travelers

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel staff were helpful and suggested how to travel around the city.

The lighting in the room was not good for reading, and music from the bar was quite loud until well after midnight.

  • Family with children

    Close to restaurants and bars

The area was noisy at night from all the local pubs and restaurants

  • Couple

excellent location, very freindly staff, good size room

carpet and bathroom were not very clean. The shower was hard to control, it was either very noisy, warm and very powerful or it was much too powerful and hot but not as noisy.

  • Older travelers

From the moment I arrived I was greeted by a very pleasant and helpful staff member at reception who offered every assistance during check in. The staff at the bar were extremely helpful ,efficent and very courteous.I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

  • Older travelers

the hotel was right on the door step to everything we wanted on our trip clean and comfortable

  • Single

I really like the central location of the hotel and in general, the overall friendliness of the staff, particularly the reception staff.

the one thing i did not like was the "rubber" feeling "attached" to the bottom sheet on the bed. i found this very uncomfortable for sleeping on.

  • Group of friends

Most of the staff was helpful and pleasant. The location was in the heart of the Trinity Bar area.

We stayed in two different rooms. In the first the beds were very old and uncomfortable with springs coming out. The second room was slightly better. In both rooms the telephone did not work.

  • Couple

The hotel is really well located, close to Temple Bar, Trinity College and Dublinia and Christchurch. Huge room, with one double bed, one single, coach...

Is a little be old, and noisy because it has 3 pubs down the hotel and a lot of police car and ambulances running up and down in Dame Street.

  • Single

Well organised, ready to check in early

    bathroom could have been cleaner

  • Single

Very good value for money for such a centrally situated hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Basic but clean and adequate.

No radio. TV very old and reception poor. Found it very hard to actually find the hotel since its address is given as Dame Street, but there is no frontage sign at all - you have to go round the back or enter through the Mariners Bar. This should be advertised on the website.
